“Tessa is horribly attached to an ugly pink pillowcase. No one can really remember when she got so attached and we all find it so strange that it’s not a blanket or stuffed animal like most other kids her age. She goes everywhere with her “case,” as she affectionately calls it. Every other week or so we find it necessary to throw the case in the wash. You’d think her best friend died for those 2 hours while it’s washing. She cries and sobs with the biggest alligator tears while standing right next to the washing machine. It is just so sad. When the dryer is done, she is the happiest little girl on the planet.”
