Photo is of my son, to look at him you would think he was just like any other 5 year old,
but if you tried to speak to him you would propabbly think he was being rude for not replying,
but if fact he is non verble, he goes off into his own little world, some days is good we can get him to interact with us, others days he just cry's and wants to be alone.
The looks I get when I am out due to having to help him feed, to showing him a plastic red card, or green one which are attached to my bag, green means go, (yes) red means stop, no.,
the looks I get for when he is screaming un controllablly and throwing himself on the floor because he has seen the tesco's sign or that we have gone to a shop he does not like.
But what no ones see's is the love and joy this little boy has brought to me since I became his mummy,
I am proud of my son, my autistic son, the one with the big blue eyes and the one that signs to me he loves me in his own little way.

Each day is a daily struggle for him, and some days
I bet he could scream out "GO AWAY AND LEAVE ME ALONE"
